We (MSTM) need a Vehicle
Mobile Science and Technology Museum (MSTM) is a public charitable Science Museum. Mobile Science and Technology Museum (MSTM) stresses hands-on experience of learning science, presents an opportunity to children from rural areas to learn and verify principles of science through experiments and to explore possibilities of applications in their own lives. Mobile Science and Technology Museum (MSTM) reach out to children in remote areas.
    
The Mobile Science and Technology Museum (MSTM) is an informal Science & Technology Education centre. Its main function is to popularize science & Technology among the common masses especially among the young generation for creating interest about science and information and communication technology.

As a non profit organization it is very hard to maintain this museum. We are developing this museum with trustee's fund. Now we need a vehicle like Double decker bus, bus, and covered van. Any of it will help us to spread science in rural areas.

Any one can donate money/donate any kind of vehicle in our museum. Amount needed: US $ 50,000

Mobile Science and Technology Museum (MSTM) is a joint venture project of Anushandhitshu Chokro and Bangladesh Science Popularization Society. Mobile Science and Technology Museum (MSTM) stresses hands-on experience of learning science, presents an opportunity to children from rural areas to learn and verify principles of science through experiments and to explore possibilities of applications in their own lives. Mobile Science and Technology Museum (MSTM) reach out to children in remote areas. The Mobile Science and Technology Museum (MSTM) is an informal Science & Technology Education center. Its main function is to popularize science & Technology among the common masses especially among the young generation for creating interest about science and information and communication technology. For performing the said function the MSTM arranges guided tour in its different galleries for explaining scientific information and theories through exhibits, seminars, meetings, popular science lectures, workshop, video and scientific film shows and science fair. It also publishes science magazines, booklets, leaflets etc., encourages young scientists to their innovative works and conducts other related activities.

OBJECTIVES / ACTIVITIES

The following objectives have been set for the smooth functioning of the Mobile Science and Technology Museum (MSTM):

Health Camp for Science worker

Anushandhitshu Chokro has started its Health Camp by a slogan "Shobar Jonno Shundor Shastha". Part of a science literacy programme, the health camp was opened at 2nd April, 2004. The opening ceremony of this camp held on the Mirpur branch of Anushandhitshu Chokro to start the programme. Neuro-medicine specialist Dr.Rafel Md. Anwarul Kabir of BSMMU, Lecturer of Biochemistry Dr. Salina Akhtar of SSMC and Dr. Murshid Jahan Binte Ali have joined this camp to aware the people about their health. More than fifty children and teenagers join with this camp at the opening day. A lecture was held about health and blood was tasted of thirty men. Different areas doctors will have given advice on their holidays by this health camp. The president of Anushandhitshu Chokro Amanul Islam told that, not only advice about health but also a survey on health will be hold with this health camp. Now maximum people of our country are deceive from health service. If doctor and Science worker occur jointly, it is possible to take up a role to decrease this problem. Science organizer Ashikur Rahman Vulu has convened this kind of camp regularly. On this opening ceremony also presented life time member Mahbubul Islam Smarak, Shek Kausar Uddin, Syed Thauhid Hosen, Md. Thauhid Al Islam, Nazmul Hasan Redoy, Iasir Arafat Sad etc.
