Projects

Projects making is a regular activity of Anushandhitshu Chokro. Members of different branches make projects and show those in their general meetings regularly. Different branches of Anushandhitshu chokro always take part in the national science and technology fair and many of its members got many prizes in these fairs at district and national level.

Besides general practice of making projects regularly in all the branches, Anushandhitshu Chokro has three specialized project divisions – Electronics Division, Astronomy Division and Agriculture Division. All these divisions are carrying on their own projects on a regular basis. Astronomy Division holds astronomy camp regularly. On August 12th and 13th, 2009, the astronomy division arranged Perseid Mateor shower observation camps at 11 different places in Bangladesh. The Electronics Division is trying to innovate and develop various electronic devices. At present it is making Sound Pollution Meter in order to conduct a wide-scale study on sound pollution in Bangladesh. The Agriculture Division, centered in Chadpur, is conducting experiments to develop the cultivation process based on local knowledge. Recently it is running a project of testing soil fertility.

It can be noted that lack of instruments often creates problems in the project sections of this prominent science organization.

Mobile Science and Technology Museum (MSTM)

We (MSTM) need a Vehicle

Mobile Science and Technology Museum (MSTM) is a public charitable Science Museum. Mobile Science and Technology Museum (MSTM) stresses hands-on experience of learning science, presents an opportunity to children from rural areas to learn and verify principles of science through experiments and to explore possibilities of applications in their own lives. Mobile Science and Technology Museum (MSTM) reach out to children in remote areas.

The Mobile Science and Technology Museum (MSTM) is an informal Science & Technology Education centre. Its main function is to popularize science & Technology among the common masses especially among the young generation for creating interest about science and information and communication technology.

As a non profit organization it is very hard to maintain this museum. We are developing this museum with trustee's fund. Now we need a vehicle like Double decker bus, bus, and covered van. Any of it will help us to spread science in rural areas.

Any one can donate money/donate any kind of vehicle in our museum. Amount needed: US $50,000
