Project Description
General information

Objective: Help flood-affected people in Bangladesh
Project type:
100% voluntary, Part-time
Team size: 30+ volunteers (180 man-hours per week)

Project Management
  • Relief work will be atleast two days per week during flood time.
  • An initial investigation team of two volunteers will visit affected areas before distributing relief materials.
  • A relief card will be provided per person or family to ensure the distribution work in a disciplined manner.
  • Central office room of Anushandhitshu Chokro will be used to store all kinds of relief materials.
  • As a nature of voluntary works, no worker will get any sort of payment. However, transport cost of both relief team and relief materials will be added to relief expenditures. It will be not more than 10% of disbursement amount.
  • An inventory register will be maintained.
  • Separate accounts will be maintained for overhead cost.
  • Field volunteers are requested to collect personal safety materials (like life jacket, if needed) at their own cost.
  • Project status will be updated online bi-weekly. Donors will not get any separate expenditure sheet against their given money.
