Aims and objectives of Anushandhitshu Chokro are
  • To build science awareness among mass people.
  • To make educational equipments using low-cost technology.
  • To develop expertise in both theoritical and practical science.
  • To build movement against superstitions.
  • To give scientific explanation of various facts and incidents.
  • To promote public understanding of science, technology and environment.
  • To encourage creative and innovative activities among the science club members
  • To encourage exchange of ideas and cooperation among the science club members.
  • To promote consciousness about environment among the science club members.

 

The achievement of Anushandhitshu Chokro in 27years at a glance

  • In 1977-78 session, Government of Bangladesh organized First National Science and Technology week. Anushandhitshu Chokro helped to organize this science week.
  • From 28 January to 4 February 1981 a science fair was held at collate in India. Anushandhitshu Chokro was only proud representative of Bangladesh. Anushandhitshu Chokro achieved the second position collectively.
  • Anushandhitshu Chokro invented the biggest telescope of Bangladesh in 1985. It achieved the first prize in national science fair.
  • In 1986 Anushandhitshu chokro arranged a project to show helley's comet with great enthusiasm. Large number people were present to see the comet.
  • Anushandhitshu chokro built a sundial in front yard of national science museum. It was named by Dr. A.R.Khan, the honorable ex-president of Anushandhitshu chokro.
  • The only observatory of Bangladesh made and planned by Mr. Khan Mohammad Sirajul Islam, ex-director of national science museum, with close co-operation with the member of Anushandhitshu chokro. It was inaugurated at 20th December in 1989. It was set up in the roof top of the national science museum.
  • Model structure of Tyrannosaurus (one kind of dinosaur) was architect by Mustafa Khalid Palash, member of Anushandhitshu chokro.
  • In 24th October 1995, Anushandhitshu chokro organized a program to observe the eclipse from HIRON POINT in Sundorban. There were about 150 members of people like scientists, journalists, teachers and science organizations present there. Bigyan Sanskrite Parishad and astronomical association was helped Anushandhitshu chokro to organize the program.
  • Anushandhitshu chokro organized first inter school general knowledge competition in Dhaka City. 9 schools in Dhaka were selected for the program. The prize giving ceremony of the program was held in Shisho Academy. Dr. Abdullah Al Mote, Dr. Ali Asgar and Professor Sushanto Kumar Sharkar were present in the ceremony. Participants and their guardian were also preset in the program.
  • After completing the first inter school general knowledge competition successfully, chokro organized second inter school general knowledge again. Some schools of Narayangonj, Norshigndi also added in the competition.
  • Devastating flood in 1998, Anushandhitshu chokro helped and gathered food for at least 70 of 80 families in manda (eastern locality of Dhaka city). In every year Anushandhitshu chokro collect cloths, books form various parts of Dhaka city and distribute those things to poor people of northern districts of Bangladesh.
  • Anushandhitshu chokro organized the science club association of Bangladesh for build up a big platform of science club for flourishing science all over the country and developed the position of science club. At least 90-science club form different part of Bangladesh is the member of this association.
  • Anushandhitshu chokro was the science organization in the world who first observed the world science day in 28th may. Science club association of Bangladesh also agrees with us. Different science club in Bangladesh also observed the world science day in there own initiatives.
  • Anushandhitshu chokro has a library contents with 800 books. Organization members and general people can lend book from the library.
  • Every year in national science and technology fair, members of Anushandhitshu chokro always get many prizes in district and national level.
