Anushandhitshu Chokro (Inquisitive Circle) is a non-profit science organization of Bangladesh established in 1975. In 1975, some of the young science seekers form this club. Anushandhitshu Chokro has played an important role in science club movement in Bangladesh since 1975.

A seminar on Shingpara Meteorite

A seminar on Shingpara Meteorite was held in 24 February 2006, at IIT auditorium in Dhaka University.

Speakers:
   -Dr. A R Khan, eminent astronomer of Bangladesh
   -Mr. Collin Henshaw, astronomer and fellow of British astronomical society
   -Mr. Shahjahan Mridha Benu, chief coordinator of astronomy team, AChokro
   -Mr. Naimul Islam Opu, chief astro-photographer of AChokro astronomy team
Speakers proposed the following steps:
  1. It should be shifted from Thakurgaon to Bhashani Novotheatre in Dhaka.
  2. Research initiative should be taken with the help of national and international organization.
  3. We urge our government to preserve the meteorite in appropriate way.
  4. After scientific research, it should be open for all so that enthusiastic people can see this extra-terrestrial object.

Help Monga "seasonal crisis" Victims

Monga, a famine like situation, prevails for a certain period almost every year in Bengali month of Ashwin and Kartik in the northern region of Bangladesh, because of absence of industrial base, said local business community. The rural youth finding no jobs in the region. Start migrating to big cities with hope of finding jobs.
